Coleman County is bordered on the south by the Colorado River, on the north by Taylor and Callahan counties, on the west by Runnels County, and on the east by Brown County and lies in the transitional area between the Edwards Plateau and the Rolling Plains. Rolling hills dominated by mesquite brush and oaks are prominent throughout the county. The northern half of the county is drained by Jim Ned and Hords creeks, which meet and flow into Pecan Bayou in neighboring Brown County. The Bayou runs directly through one of our other ranches and has its own 20+ acre pond that our guests will have access to fish.
